I don't know where to start to troubleshoot this issue, especially now that the laptop has just been formatted.
Where did it go ? what am I missing ? what should I do to have it back. I went on the adapters tab and the wireless adapter doesn't show. I formatted the laptop again as I did yesterday but this time the wireless didn't came back :( I went on device manager and everything is perfect no missing drivers or yellow exclamation marks. I have checked device manager and I have noticed that occasionally the intel Wireless 7625 AC driver is hidden with a fault advising code 45 - reconnect this hardware device to the computer.
I was shocked ! I restored the laptop to previous time but nothing. The wifi connection comes and goes and seems to be very random, I can either power up and it be there and once the laptop restarts it disappears or it just isn’t there when powered up. After a reboot I noticed that there were still 4 updates left, I clicked download and the wireless icon was gone again. Beautifully the wireless appeared again, I was able to connect to the internet and download 76 updates. I couldn't fix it so I formatted the laptop to factory setting. I received and asked to fix it because the wireless icon on the taskbar on the bottom right close to the clock wasn't showing, and the person couldn't connect to the internet.
